FCA Meeting Announcement
The next regular meeting of the Fairmount Civic Association will be Thursday, September 30, 2010, at The Philadelphia Mennonite High School, 860 N. 24th St. Meetings begin at 7:30 PM, with refreshments available at 7:00 PM. Representatives from PECO, Philadelphia Gas Works and the Philadelphia Water Department will speak and have literature available. Help Green Fairmount
You can help "green" the neighborhood by planting a tree at your home. "Treevitalize" offers affordable tree planting services to residents of Fairmount. While the program is an ongoing one, the deadline for the current planting application period is August 10, 2010.
