In an effort to prevent fallen leaves from entering the waste stream and taking up space in landfills, the city is offering a leaf collection and recycling program November 10 – December 19.
Not everyone in Fairmount has leaf collection challenges, but if you do, you can learn more about drop-off locations, dates, and times by clicking here: Philadelphia Leaf Collection and Recycling Program.
In the past, the city would pick up collected leaves curbside. THAT PROGRAM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. You must drop off bagged leaves at one of the 22 drop-off locations.
The Fairmount drop-off location is at the corner of Corinthian and Poplar.

If you’re part of the Fairmount Civic Association, you probably care deeply about our community and are willing to put in just a little extra time and effort to make sure it’s one of the best neighborhoods in the city.
On Saturday, November 8, you have an opportunity to join your neighbors in the annual Fairmount Fall Fall Cleanup to help keep our streets and sidewalks clean.
