Handbags for Friends
The FCA collected gently used handbags for the extended acute psychiatric ward patients at Temple Hospital, Episcopal Campus. Also collected were small makeup items such as lipstick, eye shadow, (no mascara), perfume, creams that you no longer use or hankies/tissues (small plastic packages). The women on this locked unit have very little and always ask for bags/purses to carry the few things that they have.
